Photography, Audio and Video Recording: IFS workshop participants may not photograph or make audio or visual recordings of any part of any IFS workshop sessions. IFS Institute or its agents may photograph and make audio and visual recordings of the workshop sessions (excluding scheduled practice “breakout” groups and “home/reflection” groups) in order to facilitate the IFS trainer evaluation process, and the development and education of new and advancing trainers. The sharing and other distribution of these photographs and recordings is prohibited, except among select IFS Institute trainers, trainer candidates, and employees, as designated by IFS Institute. By being a participant in this workshop, I agree and consent that any photographs and recordings may be used by IFS Institute as described above without additional prior notice or permission, and without compensation to me.
One week prior to the start of this workshop, participants will receive the workshop's Roster. It will be the responsibility of each participant to review the Roster and to check for dual/multiple relationships (as explained below). If a dual/multiple relationship exists, please contact Laura Zaidi; laura@ifs-institute.com.
Dual/Multiple Relationships: IFS Institute is sensitive to the potential difficulties of any type of dual/multiple relationship between workshop staff and participant, or participant and participant. Therefore, IFS Institute recommends that you review the roster for your workshop and determine if you have a dual/multiple relationship with anyone. It is the responsibility of the therapist in a therapist-client dual/multiple relationship, and of the supervisor in a supervisor-supervisee dual/multiple relationship to identify the situation. Different states, provinces, and other governmental jurisdictions may have different policies regarding dual/multiple relationships for counselors, therapists, and other professionals for whom dual/multiple relationships may exist. Therefore, workshop participants are expected to take responsibility for checking with their particular and applicable governing policies, and for adhering to the professional standards for dual/multiple relationships outlined therein. Participants in IFS Institute programs are also expected to adhere to the governing policies of their professional disciplines regarding dual/multiple relationships. Participants take full responsibility for any issues that may arise in regard to dual/multiple relationships, and any dual/multiple relationship issue does not exempt you from fulfilling your payment to attend the workshop.
The nature of the IFS learning process may stimulate psychological and emotional issues for participants. Participants are required to take responsibility for maintaining their own safety in IFSI courses. Acknowledging and agreeing to this, is part of the registration process for this event.
IFS workshops and courses as well as associated support from course facilitators are not a substitute for professional mental health care services, or medical care. They are also not intended for clinical diagnosis, or treatment, nor are the information or activities IFS trainings provide intended to replace consultation with a qualified healthcare provider.
